What’s in a name? Well, if that name is Cadillac, then you are sure to find luxury. Cadillac has been used time and time again as a descriptor of the finer things in life, and it is easy to see why. Whether you are looking for a Cadillac XT4 for sale, an XT5, or maybe the larger XT6, you can rest assured that what you’ll get with any of them is an experience unlike any other. Cadillac has a long and rich history, filled with noteworthy recognition and accomplishments. Leading the way in the automotive industry with many firsts, Cadillac established a reputation for greatness early on. From that history have arisen many fantastic vehicles built off the incredible ingenuity and imagination of previous designs. Some of those noteworthy vehicles that we enjoy today are the Cadillac SUVs, which come in a variety of sizes.

If you are looking for a luxury SUV, look no further than the XT line. The XT4 is the smallest of the Cadillac SUVs, providing everything you love about Cadillac but in a small and easy-to-maneuver size. The XT5 rolls in as Cadillac’s compact SUV contestant, with a little more room inside than the XT4 but far from being a barge. Lastly, the XT6 hits the road as Cadillac’s midsize SUV, providing the most space out of the trio. With size being the main case for differentiating, you might wonder what else sets these three luxury SUVs apart. Is it just the amount of cargo space available, or is there more to compare when deciding which Cadillac is right for you? Starting with the XT4, let’s see what Cadillac brings to the small SUV segment.

The Cadillac XT4

The Cadillac XT4 may be the smallest SUV in the lineup, but it packs a punch! The first look shows a sleek, classic-looking SUV with sharp lines and a bold front face. The stylish exterior of the XT4 is a great indicator of what to expect inside. Inside, you have the option to choose from several finishes, like a carbon fiber finish, for a sleek, sporty look. Jet Black upholstery with contrasting Cinnamon trim creates a one-of-a-kind cabin. For a warmer, cozy feel, real wood accents are available, creating a striking appearance. Select trims even offer leather for the premium feel.

The XT4 is surprisingly roomy, considering it is the smaller of the SUVs. The rear seat folds in a 40/60 configuration, letting you decide how you want to use the space. For rear passengers, the XT4 has best-in-class rear legroom, only adding to the cabin’s comfort. The driver won’t be left out either, with an eight-way adjustable seat and recall option to save your favorite settings. Select trims even offer lumbar support with two adjustable settings to help support your body and minimize fatigue.

The XT4 is well-equipped with snazzy tech, like wi-fi capability for entertainment and a rear camera mirror, complete with a washer, for safety. Of course, that isn’t all when it comes to safety, as the Cadillac is loaded with top-notch safety gear. Features like Forward Collision Alert come standard, along with Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and the innovative Teen Driver technology that lets you control settings like speed limits and radio volume so your newly licensed driver can develop good driving habits.

The Cadillac XT5

The XT5 drives into the compact SUV segment, bringing luxury to those who need a more spacious option than the XT4. Its size is far from cumbersome, maneuvering nicely and providing a beyond-quiet ride. Cargo space is top-notch on the XT5, offering up to 63 cu.ft., making it ideal for road-tripping in style. Inside, you will find color tones similar to the XT4 but with unique finishes. Optional upgrades include a neat chevron inlay pattern, Semi-Aniline leather, microfiber suede accents, bronze carbon fiber, and more. The different options make it easy to create a cabin all your own.

A premium Bose sound system is standard across the board, with the higher trims sporting a few extra speakers for good measure. Eight-way power-adjustable seats are standard across the board as well, also throwing in the lumbar support that is highly appreciated. Higher trims share the lumbar support with front passengers, a perk we are certain passengers will be pleased with.

Upgraded tech versions generally found in other vehicles can be standard in the XT5. Features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make connecting to compatible devices easy so everyone can enjoy them. The XT5 does a great job of offering extras, making the price tag well worth it. No corners were cut in making the XT5, with trims featuring convenience options like Keyless Open and select trims offering Wireless Phone charging.

The Cadillac XT6

The XT6 is the largest XT option, filling the midsize SUV segment. The XT6 is the epitome of luxury, with special options such as the UltraView Power Sunroof found standard on each trim. This expansive sunroof opens up to let the bright outdoors inside while still providing shade when needed. Select trims provide a power liftgate and hands-free driving capabilities, courtesy of the innovative Super Cruise driver assistance technology.

As one of the larger Cadillac SUVs, the XT6 offers an expansive three-row configuration, allotting for up to seven occupants. Despite providing optimal interior space, the XT6 is still only midsized, so you won’t feel like driving a barge through tiny winding streets. Less like a bull in a china shop and more like a bull in a relatively nice-sized pasture.

Weekend getaways get a bit more interesting, thanks to the XT6’s size and towing abilities. Select trims are even equipped with Smart Towing, which includes towing necessities like a heavy-duty cooling system to combat overheating from the excess weight, and Hitch Guidance with Hitch View. Some trims also provide built-in navigation, known as the Cadillac User Experience with Navigation, which is another game changer for impromptu getaways.

In the XT6, you’ll be ready for the unpredictable thanks to all-wheel drive capabilities and the Driver Mode Selector. Take on slippery roads with ease and feel confident with every turn. Speaking of turns, all XT6 trims come standard with IntelliBeam auto high beam headlamps, making the road even safer for oncoming traffic and yourself. As you would expect, the XT6 also comes with plenty of safety features; many predictable but appreciated options found on newer vehicles are tools like Reverse Automatic Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Which Cadillac XT Model Are You?

You might be one of those who prefers to avoid telling someone your size, but when choosing a Cadillac SUV, you can shout it from the rooftops. The XT4 is the smallest of the luxurious SUV lineup and is appreciated for its agile maneuverability and undeniable style. The XT5 provides ample cargo room and plenty of gadgets to get your motor running. Then of course, the XT6 dominates the road without scaring anyone off with its three rows of splendor.

There are a ridiculous number of SUVs available today, but when you want one that oozes grandness, then Cadillac is top of the list. With several sizes to choose from and each model coming in several trim options, it’s easy to pick what works for you without feeling like you settled. When it comes to choosing an SUV, the best place to start is Jim Ellis Cadillac!
