If you have nothing better to do and you want to spend

If you have nothing better to do and you want to spend over 3 hours for an Oil Change and Tire rotation when you had an 11:00 AM appointment, then during the 3 hours being totally ignored and forgotten, never kept informed, their texting service to do this does not work or they choose to ignore your text, THEN this is your place to be. Then wait another 30 minutes for them to get your vehicle delivered back to you "because it was blocked in by other vehicles." This is supposed to be a Cadillac Dealership, it is NOT a Cadillac experience that is for SURE! When you buy a Certified Pre-owned (CPO) your first Oil Change is free, should have learned my lesson then, this is the LAST time I use a Jim Ellis Service, the MOG was just as bad!!!

We were sold a used car that we discovered a few weeks

We were sold a used car that we discovered a few weeks later needed several thousand dollars of repairs. It was not inspected for maintenance needs because some of the needed repairs should have been obvious, i.e. oil leak, shocks leaking. If you purchase a vehicle from this dealership I would recommend you have it independently inspected and any promised repairs agreed to in writing and done before the vehicle leaves their lot. I don't believe they did the maintenance inspection stated on the Carfax report. When confronted with the cost of the repairs, they said they couldn't eat the cost of the repair, but they did offer us a discount to do them.

The sales man did an amazing job. The financing part felt “slimmy ”. We were never shown the different bank rates and he kept turning screen to make sure we didn’t see anything. Since we knew we were paying it off in February we let it slide. The only part I didn’t like. I would refer a friend to buy car from there, just don’t deal with financing department.

Everyone at Jim Ellis was very professional and the purchasing process was smooth as silk. Everything was setup online with a trade evaluation within minutes. Saved me from having to drive to Atlanta and sit in a dealership for hours. The days of being tossed around with lots of high pressure sales techniques are thankfully gone. Chris and the team were great to work with on this deal. The car was delivered to me and my trade was picked up at the same time. One last note, don't deal with any dealership that loves to add crazy fees beyond a standard document fee. It's not uncommon for slimy dealerships to get you emotionally attached to a vehicle only to add stupid fees on top of the sales price. I had one dealership try to add $5,000 worth of bogus fees. Heck, one was a $1700 used car evaluation fee! That's saying they want to charge me for selling them my car. I don't think so. I walked out. Jim Ellis has a fair documentation fee plus the tax, tag, and title. They didn't try to charge me any hidden fees on top of the sales price nor charge to deliver my vehicle. That's good business. Thank you Jim Ellis. I've dealt with you for years and look forward to future business together.

Dealer failed to install locking wheel lugs, dealer doc fee had to be adjusted for correct family price, operation instructions of vehicle was grossly inadequate, finance person improperly process tag transfer.

No quality control, I had to go to the dealership twice and today my Cadillac Escalade is still do have tinted windows that I was told was completed and it’s not. I was charged for window tint $599, and if I had not said anything the dealership was just going to keep my money. I don’t like to be cheated. I purchased this vehicle in good faith and I have had nothing but problems and a lost of my time traveling back and fourth to the dealership. You cannot tell me it was a mistake because a couple of days after I purchased the vehicle the dealership picked it up from my home to complete these exact things, vehicle wrap, fabric protection, tint windows and floor mats and wheel lock. I don’t have the mats or wheel lock. I have been buying vehicles for over 30 years and never went through this. So again I have to take my time to get my vehicle windows tinted the same windows I paid Jim Ellis to tint and my money was taken with a smile.

Had a good experience buying a car here. Other than the finance person who wouldn’t work on the price at all and still ended up sneaking gap insurance in, even though I said I didn’t want it to begin with, other than that I had a great experience especially with our salesman Juan . Juan was really nice and not pushy at all. I will get the deal I want next time though or I’ll walk! Only reason for giving four stars for Jim Ellis is simply because the finance guy tried to snatch ever penny he could and wouldn’t budge at all on the price even though it dropped $1,400 online after I bought it. That kind of tactic will keep individuals like me from going back . Overall though it was a nice day with not much hassle.
