Dealership purchases still take too long between all the negotiations and various stages. CarMax has spoiled us on purchase efficiency. Fix that and 10/10

I would like to say I have nothing bad to say about the service advisor. Was very disappointed with the other services. I was there for oil change, etc. and had a couple items that would be covered under warranty. Car is 1 year old. First they said if they had to keep my car for diagnostic they didn't have a loaner car, second 3 hours later no conclusion on the items covered under warranty. I recently purchase a used Cadillac EV from this dealership working with Alex Lagrow and Justin Perlino. My uncle used work for GM and provided me a GMS number for a family discount which applies to used corporate fleet vehicles but when I shared this with the sales person they were quick to tell me No it doesn't apply. I had to have my battery replaced in my 2020 XT5. Paloma Garcia was my service rep. Was very impressed with her personality and knowledge. I thought the price was reasonable. It took about 2 hours to complete the work.

I was very satisfied with the work that was done on my 2014 ATS Cadillac on August 1 by Jim Ellis Cadillac dealership. I was really impressed by the detailed work that was done, and most important, I was relieved to know that they were able to locate and repair the problem that I was having with my car.
Tim took the time to explain the trade-in process thoroughly and answered all of my questions without rushing me. I had several concerns and needed clarity on a few things, and Tim was incredibly patient and respectful throughout our conversations. The reason I bought this car from out of state is this salesmen. Open, honest and not pushy at all.
Would have been 1 star but I’ll give some grace. Sold me a used EV that I was told qualified for the $4k EV tax credit. Was later told the paperwork was filed with the IRS. Neither was true. IRS rejected my tax return. Circled back to Jim Ellis Cadillac and they would not admit their mistake ignoring evidence I had. I’ve bought over 15 cars from Jim Ellis dealerships. This is the first issue I had. The indifference and arrogance from the Cadillac store was shocking.

I was in Georgia visiting family and noticed my car was at 23%. I didn't think I would be able to make it home to illinois without needing my oil changed. I contacted the dealership on Monday (holiday) to see if I could get my oil changed by Tuesday or Wednesday as I was scheduled to return to illinois on Wednesday.
