If you’re a fan of luxury and performance, then you’ll want to set your eyes on the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ. There are plenty of compact SUVs, battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), and luxury models, but the OPTIQ promises to be the best possible combination of the three. Cadillac has left nothing to the imagination when it comes to the OPTIQ, with all the features you could ask for and then some, all wrapped up in sleek, futuristic styling.

Cadillac is boldly leading the BEV field, with the OPTIQ following the CELESTIQ, a full-size BEV sedan that was released in 2024, and the LYRIQ, a midsize BEV SUV that hit the road the year prior. At Jim Ellis Cadillac, we are proud to offer the 2025 OPTIQ, as well as the full Cadillac lineup, giving you the ability to get your next luxury model with all the features you desire. The great thing about the OPTIQ is that it comes fully loaded with so many standard features and capabilities that you can drive off into the sunset right off of our lot.

Powerful Electric Performance

As a BEV, the 2025 OPTIQ will free you from gas pumps and eliminate your greenhouse gas emissions. This model runs on a pair of electric motors—one for each axle; the front gets a permanent-magnet synchronous AC motor, while the rear uses an asynchronous AC induction motor. As a result, the OPTIQ has standard all-wheel drive. Both motors are powered by an 85-kWh lithium-ion battery pack located in the OPTIQ’s lower frame. This is all part of the Ultium Battery Platform, which is the efficient and accessible battery platform used across Cadillac’s growing BEV lineup.

The OPTIQ gives you up to an estimated 300 miles of range on a fully charged battery. Like most BEV models, you are able to keep the battery slightly recharged via kinetic brake recapture; this takes a portion of the kinetic energy released from the brakes and channels it to the battery pack to keep it topped up. In addition, you can recharge your OPTIQ with the built-in Combined Charging System (CCS) Type 1 port; this allows you to charge at home or while on the road. OPTIQ owners can access over 15,000 Tesla Supercharger locations across America using the myCadillac mobile app. If you decide to recharge OPTIQ’s battery at a public DC Fast Charging station, you can get up to 79 miles in just ten minutes. As for charging at home, you can get up to 55 miles in an hour, depending on the voltage of your home’s charging unit.

The BEV powertrain of the OPTIQ delivers solid performance, with a very impressive output of 300 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. These specs make the OPTIQ capable of towing up to 1,500 lbs. As for acceleration, the OPTIQ is able to get from zero to sixty in a tight 5.9 seconds; this will get you onto the highway in the blink of an eye!

Hands-Free Driving Capabilities

One of the coolest features of the OPTIQ is the standard Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free driver assistance tool. On specially mapped highways, you can drive your OPTIQ without having to hold the steering wheel. Super Cruise uses the OPTIQ’s built-in sensors and cameras, as well as GPS and high-definition LiDAR map data, to steer the vehicle on the hundreds of thousands of miles of North American highway. The standard lane-keeping system allows the OPTIQ to stay centered in the lane, while Adaptive Cruise Control controls acceleration and braking; this will adjust your speed and navigate in accordance with traffic.

Super Cruise is a great way to reduce driver fatigue on long drives. It also helps you comply with speed limits and avoid collisions with other vehicles, but you’ll nevertheless want to pay attention so you can override the system in an emergency situation. Super Cruise is the next phase of driver assistance technology, putting you on the cutting edge when you choose to drive an OPTIQ.

Exceptional Infotainment System

Cadillac has equipped the OPTIQ with a 33-inch advanced LED display that covers two-thirds of the dashboard, running from the driver-side door to the passenger side of the center console. This screen has a 9K resolution, granting crisp, clear, and colorful images. It is placed high so that all of the information you need is close to eye level; this lets you get the information you need without taking your eyes off the road, whether you are checking your speed or confirming the artist of the song playing on the infotainment system.

While the OPTIQ is a feast for the eyes, your ears will love the 19-speaker AKG studio audio system. This comes with the Dolby Atmos system, which provides surround sound, filling your OPTIQ with your favorite music and immersing you in the experience. Each of the 19 speakers on the AKG system has been tuned to fit the interior of the OPTIQ. This is one of the most advanced audio systems available, and it perfectly suits this luxury compact SUV.

Gorgeous Aesthetics

The interior and exterior of the OPTIQ are on the cutting edge of style; as Bryan Nesbitt, Cadillac Design’s executive director, points out, “OPTIQ’s bold design leverages the Cadillac standard for luxury while remaining youthful, sporty, and innovative.” The exterior is sleek and futuristic, with aerodynamic lines. Its black crystal grille features a laser-etched pattern with the famous Cadillac logo in the center. A fixed-glass panoramic roof sits seamlessly within the metal frame; this helps bring the outdoors in on sunny days, while its power shade allows you to cover up when you want a little more privacy.

The interior carries the body’s sleekness into a spacious, luxurious place for you and your passengers. The seats are made from 100% recycled yarn, which is incredibly comfortable. There is even an available massaging feature on these seats, which will keep you and your passengers relaxed on road trips. The interior has accents of PaperWood veneer; this is made up of a combination of Tulipwood and recycled newspaper. When coupled with the zero emissions of its BEV propulsion system, the OPTIQ takes a position as one of the most environmentally friendly models on the market.

When the sun sets and you close the power shade over the panoramic roof, the dual-zone ambient lighting can set the mood inside your OPTIQ. Cadillac offers 126 different colors to choose from, allowing you to tailor this lighting so it best suits your feelings and makes a statement.

The designers at Cadillac have done an amazing job apportioning space inside the OPTIQ. With a 116-inch wheelbase, the OPTIQ is very maneuverable, yet it has a great deal of passenger and cargo space. The 37.8 inches of legroom in the back row is the most among any luxury BEV compact SUV; this lets you seat up to five adult passengers, with each able to stretch out on the ride. Meanwhile, there is plenty of trunk space, including a segment-best 26 cu.ft. of space behind the rear row of seats. If you need more space, simply fold down the back row to free up a very spacious 57 cu.ft. for your belongings.
