See How the Escalade Surpasses the Lincoln Navigator

The Cadillac lineup offers an incredible range of vehicles for you to choose from, with the Escalade right at the top of the list, especially if you want a large vehicle. If you are interested in a Cadillac Escalade for sale near Brookhaven, but wondering how it stacks up to the competition, then you might be curious about what options like the Lincoln Navigator offer.
Although the Navigator is a fine full-size SUV in its own right, there are some key ways that the Escalade simply can’t be beat by Lincoln’s offering. Whether you’re looking for absolutely massive performance, an incredibly large and spacious interior, or a stunning sound system, the Escalade is the way to go. Let’s take a closer look at these two vehicles, and we’ll highlight some key ways the 2026 Escalade goes beyond what the Navigator offers on the road.
Incredible Power and Performance from Cadillac
With a full-size SUV like these two models, you need a great engine to ensure that driving each day feels fun and rewarding. This is something that Cadillac and Lincoln both understand, and they’ve each pushed the envelope when it comes to the kind of power you can get from these two SUVs. That being said, things aren’t the same between them, and one ultimately provides more.
Looking at standard engines, Lincoln’s team has done a good job by providing a turbocharged V6 with much more power than we’d expect. That being said, we prefer the overall feel of the standard 6.2L V8 in the Cadillac Escalade and the responsive performance it provides as you drive around Brookhaven. What takes things to the next level, however, is the Escalade-V.
Unbridled Power With the Cadillac Escalade-V
Across the Cadillac lineup, the V-Series vehicles set the high watermark for power and performance from this legendary luxury brand. The Escalade is certainly no exception here, and it’s this Escalade-V model that truly takes our breath away. To appreciate just how remarkable this engine is, all we have to do is compare it to the Navigator’s performance:
Lincoln Navigator
- 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine.
- 432 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque.
Cadillac Escalade-V
- 6.2L supercharged V8 engine.
- 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque.
What more needs to be said? The horsepower and torque from Cadillac’s supercharged engine leave the Navigator in its dust, creating a full-size luxury SUV that drives like an absolute dream. While we’ll admit the Escalade-V isn’t right for everyone, it’s the perfect option for folks who seek heart-pounding performance even in a large, sophisticated vehicle like this.

Interior Cargo Space to Fully Utilize
One of the main reasons many people choose a full-size SUV, like these two models, is the interior space they offer. It’s hard to argue with the spacious interiors that these vehicles have, especially when it comes to impressive cargo space. Whether you want something for a large family or you need a new executive vehicle, this room comes in handy as you drive around Brookhaven.
Even though these are both full-size SUVs, they’re not identical in terms of how much room you get inside. In fact, the Escalade gives you significantly more space to utilize. Lincoln offers a long-wheelbase Navigator to match the Escalade, but Cadillac delivers a longer version of its full-size SUV to take things further. Here, we’ll show you what we mean:
- 2026 Lincoln Navigator: 107 cu.ft. max cargo space.
- 2026 Cadillac Escalade: 120.5 cu.ft. max cargo space.
- 2026 Lincoln NavigatorL: 121.6 cu.ft. max cargo space.
- 2026 Cadillac Escalade ESV: 142.2 cu.ft. max cargo space.
You can see that Cadillac simply stays a step ahead of Lincoln when it comes to giving you tremendous room inside your vehicle. This is precisely what we look for in a full-size SUV and one of our favorite aspects of the Escalade. No matter what you need to load into your vehicle, the Escalade is up to the task and ready to hit the road with everything you require.
The Escalade’s Massive Interior Display
Although there are many things to look for in a luxury SUV, large interior displays are often at the top of the list, as they can make many other tech features easier to use. Both Cadillac and Lincoln clearly got the message, and they deliver large screens that stretch across the front ends of these two SUVs. And yet, there’s a significant difference between them.
The Cadillac Escalade features a gorgeous 55-inch curved Horizon Display that spans the entire front end, making it incredibly easy to see what you need. Inside the Navigator, we find a noticeably smaller 48-inch display that’s still impressive in its own right, but it highlights just how much more Cadillac gives you. For functionality, sophistication, and style, the Escalade simply cannot be beat; and this is only the start.
A Stunning AKG Sound System in the Escalade
We know many audiophiles who look at vehicle sound systems before just about anything else. Even if you are not quite as intense about music while driving, you still deserve something that sounds great. The Lincoln Navigator has some impressive audio, including a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D sound system in the highest trim levels, which is quite good.
In luxury models like these, however, “quite good” isn’t good enough, and Cadillac proves that. The highest Escalade levels come with a stunning 38-speaker AKG Studio Reference sound system with Dolby Atmos. This fills the spacious Escalade’s interior with a truly unbelievable sound that is rich, warm, and absolutely decadent. You have to hear it to fully appreciate it.

More Great Interior Tech Features from Cadillac
Cadillac doesn’t stop there with the Escalade’s impressive technology; they also offer a wide range of features and options throughout that take things even further. At high Cadillac trim levels, the Rear Seat Entertainment system features a pair of 12.6-inch seat-mounted HD screens for your rear passengers to stay entertained.
These displays in the Escalade feature HDMI and USB ports for your passengers to connect their devices, and you get a pair of Bluetooth headphones with them. Lincoln offers a similar option with a Lincoln Play Rear Seat Entertainment system, but it remains an available package even at the highest trim level. That’s an oversight as far as we’re concerned; that feels like a real mistake.
Chevy’s Super Cruise System and More
Although both vehicles offer a hands-free driving system, we find GM’s to be a better overall choice. GM introduced its Super Cruise hands-free driving technology with the Cadillac lineup, and the Escalade has long been an incredible showcase for this remarkable tech. That’s just as true today.
The BlueCruise hands-free driving system found on the Lincoln Navigator works well, but we simply prefer GM’s technology. We find that it has proven itself better than other options, and GM continues to innovate with features like hands-free towing support. We’re happy to show you how well Super Cruise works, and you can decide for yourself.
