This powertrain is available with either AWD or RWD, depending on your preference.

The V-Series has Magnetic Ride Control, which can change damping in just five milliseconds, providing an unbelievably smooth ride. This beast is only available with RWD—for optimal performance—and it comes with an exclusive 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine that delivers an incredible 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque.

You can pair this stunning engine with either a six-speed manual transmission or the ten-speed automatic that all the other CT5s have, letting you get the kind of driving experience you prefer. The Blackwing has a rear differential cooler to help keep the gears cool during demanding drives; there’s even a Custom Launch Control system that includes Line Lock so you can lock the front brakes independently of the rear ones for up to 15 seconds, letting your rear tires spin while your car remains stationary.
