If you’re looking for a luxurious midsize sedan that’s incredibly fun to drive, the Cadillac CT5 is the one for you. That being said, Cadillac offers four different versions of the 2025 CT5—two trims and two performance-focused V-Series variants—ensuring there’s something to meet just about any need.

So before you go looking for a Cadillac CT5 for sale, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with these four versions to figure out which one best meets your needs. The last thing you want is to drive away in a gorgeous Cadillac only to have regrets that you missed out on something that would’ve been a better fit for you. Don’t worry, though, because we’re here to help. Let’s take a good look at all four versions of the CT5 to see what they offer and see which one is right for you.

The 2025 CT5 Premium Luxury

This is the starting point for the Cadillac CT5, though you would be hard-pressed to call this gorgeous piece of machinery “entry-level.” Like most of the other models we’ll look at, the Premium Luxury is available with either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), which lets you choose the kind of driving experience you prefer.

This trim has a 2.0L twin-scroll turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that provides 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, ensuring a great time on the road. If you’re looking for enhanced performance, a 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 engine is available that delivers 335 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque; this is remarkable for a midsize sedan like this and an amazing overall option.

Cadillac provides 18-inch wheels with the Premium Luxury trim, which are wrapped in all-season tires for excellent performance and added peace of mind in case life throws a curveball at you. Upper and lower active aero shutters help boost aerodynamics at high speeds while still ensuring plenty of cooling for the engine. Plus, you get body-color heated, power-adjustable side mirrors with an auto-dimming function on the driver’s side.

Inside the 2025 CT5 Premium Luxury, you’ll find a gorgeous 33-inch advanced color LED display with Google Built-In to provide navigation functionality and support for numerous apps. This model has a 15-speaker premium surround sound system, leather seating with mini-perforated inserts, and eight-way power front seats that are heated, ventilated, and boast massage functionality.

The 2025 CT5 Sport

There is no denying that the Premium Luxury trim is a great choice, but if you’re looking for something with a distinctive, sporty style, then this is the trim to check out. In terms of performance, the Sport is offered with AWD or RWD and comes with the same 2.0L turbocharged engine as the starting trim.

Unlike the Premium Luxury trim, however, this one doesn’t have the 3.0L V6 as an option, so keep that in mind if you want that level of performance. The Sport comes with a body-color rear spoiler for an added touch of style, and front Brembo performance brakes with either red or blue calipers are available. These brakes look stunning and provide a bold, distinct look when you’re on the road.

The CT5 Sport features 19-inch alloy wheels with a Pearl Nickel finish, though 19-inch wheels with a Satin Graphite finish are available if you prefer a darker look. Inside the Sport trim, you’ll find the same incredible 33-inch display and the AKG 15-speaker sound system as the Premium Luxury trim.

The Sport trim has additional seatback bolster adjustments and support for a comfortable ride, along with Inteluxe seating that looks and feels fantastic. You’ll find a heated steering wheel in this model, just like the Premium Luxury, along with alloy sport pedals with raised rubber traction surfaces to go along with alloy paddle shift controls for a driving experience that always keeps you in control.

The 2025 CT5 V-Series

Both of the two CT5-V variants are built with a focus on performance and having an incredible time on the road. The first V-Series variant has an improved 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 engine, tuned to deliver 360 hp, further enhancing your time behind the wheel. This powertrain is available with either AWD or RWD, depending on your preference.

The V-Series has Magnetic Ride Control, which can change damping in just five milliseconds, providing an unbelievably smooth ride. It also has a performance suspension, Performance Traction Management, and Launch Control for maximum throttle that’s perfect for the track. Along with all of this power, Cadillac outfits the V-Series with Brembo front performance brakes to make sure you can stop safely and remain in control.

You’ll find 19-inch wheels with a Satin Graphite finish on the V-Series, wrapped in summer-only, low-profile tires designed for optimal performance and traction. This model has a body-color rear spoiler—like the Sport trim—along with LED exterior lighting. Inside, you’ll find many of the same remarkable features as other CT5s, along with 18-way adjustable performance front bucket seats. An available performance data and video recorder is perfect for hitting the track, checking your performance, and finding ways to optimize your runs.

The 2025 CT5 V-Series Blackwing

Finally, the V-Series Blackwing variant represents the ultimate expression of power and speed for the 2025 Cadillac CT5. This beast is only available with RWD—for optimal performance—and it comes with an exclusive 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine that delivers an incredible 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque.

You can pair this stunning engine with either a six-speed manual transmission or the ten-speed automatic that all the other CT5s have, letting you get the kind of driving experience you prefer. The Blackwing has a rear differential cooler to help keep the gears cool during demanding drives; there’s even a Custom Launch Control system that includes Line Lock so you can lock the front brakes independently of the rear ones for up to 15 seconds, letting your rear tires spin while your car remains stationary.

Performance brake linings help the brakes withstand the tremendous heat and demands placed on them; the Blackwing also comes with six-piston front brake calipers to keep you in control every moment you’re behind the wheel. You get 19-inch wheels in a Polished/Dark Android finish wrapped in high-performance summer-only tires and distinct LED exterior lighting, including illuminating door handles.

Inside, you’ll find a 16-speaker AKG Premium sound system, performance front bucket seats, leather seating with mini-perforated inserts, and suede microfiber-wrapped interior accents. The high-performance steering wheel includes a serialized numbered plate (which corresponds to each Blackwing’s VIN), quick-access buttons for track features, and a leather-wrapped handle with carbon fiber trim.
