• Electrified Power and Range

It should be no surprise, then, that the future of the Cadillac brand, though it might be going electric, will continue to deliver on everything we have come to expect. The 2024 LYRIQ is a terrific example of that, bringing robust electrified power with it to go along with its stunning style and incredible luxury. You have two options available to you when it comes to the motor system powering the LYRIQ, which gives you the freedom to get the kind of power you want.

  The standard setup for the LYRIQ is a single motor system, with the motor on the rear axle to create electrified RWD performance. With this motor, the LYRIQ provides 340 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, with a beautifully balanced 50/50 weight distribution for the battery and power system. If you want a more energetic driving experience, you can choose a dual-motor system, which gives you eAWD performance and a pair of motors that deliver 500 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. Both setups deliver instant torque for truly exhilarating acceleration designed to put you back in your seat with a smile on your face. You cannot go wrong with either one, but we prefer the dual-motor configuration for its exceptional power and control on the road.

  As electric vehicles have grown in popularity, many drivers are concerned about range and how easy it is to charge them; with the 2024 LYRIQ, there is no need to be worried. Going with the single-motor option gets you an estimated 314 miles of range from a full charge, while the two-motor setup gets an estimated 307 miles of total range. Charging the LYRIQ is easy since it supports Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 DC Fast Charging, which can get you more than 75 miles of range from a charge of about 10 minutes. (Using the Energy Assist feature in your myCadillac Mobile App, you will be able to view your current charge level—expressed as a percentage of a full charge or in terms of how many miles you can travel with your current charge—to locate charging stations and plan a route to the one of your choice.) With a Level 2 charging station installed at home, you can get up to 51 miles of range from about an hour charge on LYRIQ trim levels with 19.2 kW charging capability, making it easy to go everywhere you need.

• Gorgeous Interior Details

  

  If there is one thing Cadillac is well known for, it is designing vehicles with gorgeous interiors that are as stylish as they are functional. All you have to do is look at something like the legendary Escalade to see how well Cadillac understands aesthetically pleasing functionality. With the 2024 LYRIQ, we see this once again, thanks to a gorgeous interior that welcomes you each time you get behind the wheel. You will find two rows of seating inside the LYRIQ for up to five passengers, along with 28 cu.ft. of rear cargo space and more than 60 cu.ft. of total cargo volume inside with the rear seats folded.

  With three different trims to choose from, the luxurious interior you get to enjoy will depend on which one you choose, but they are all opulent. The starting Tech trim features a massive 33-inch advanced color LED display with Google built-in, which dominates the front dashboard. This is joined by a seven-speaker sound system for remarkable audio, support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger. You get comfortable Inteluxe seating in the Tech trim level, with heated front seats, power-adjustable seating with lumbar controls, and dual-zone automatic climate control to keep your passengers comfortable. Active noise cancellation measures road vibration and other driving-induced exterior noise, then uses the LYRIQ's advanced sound system to produce sound at a pitch to cancel it out. Google built-in gives you hands-free access to programs like Google Assistant and Google Maps to check on weather and traffic conditions and more.

  There are three versions of the Sport trim available, with the Sport 3 delivering an absolutely incredible experience. The Sport 3 comes with a 19-speaker AKG Studio sound system that delivers unbelievable audio to everyone inside the LYRIQ, along with perforated seating that features heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. You also get tri-zone automatic climate control in the Sport 3, along with ambient interior lighting that you can customize to create a unique driving experience that is truly your own.

• Innovative Safety Tech

  

  Whether you are interested in an electrified driving experience or a more conventional one, nothing is more important than how well your vehicle helps keep you safe. That is why we love seeing the standard Cadillac Smart System in every 2024 LYRIQ trim, giving you incredible driver assistance technology no matter what else you want in your next ride. This suite of advanced systems includes a Forward Collision Alert with Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking to help you avoid a crash, Reverse Automatic Braking for greater functionality, and Front and Rear Park Assist to make parking easier. You also get Blind Zone Steering Assist to help you avoid a potential collision with a vehicle hiding in your blind spot.
