The 2025 CT4-V variants have a specific engine tied to them. The CT4-V has a 2.7-liter Dual Volute Turbocharged I-4 gas engine, like the one available on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trims. However, the version of this engine on the CT4-V has been given a significant boost, delivering 325 hp at 5,500 RPM and 380 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 RPM.
The largest and most powerful engine for any 2025 CT4 comes on the CT4-V Blackwing. This 3.6-liter Twin-Turbocharged V6 gas engine delivers an incredible 472 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque.
Rather than go with a standard transmission for all of the different engine options on the CT4, Cadillac has opted to pair each engine with a transmission designed to get the most out of its performance. As a result, the 2.0-liter Twin-Scroll Turbocharged I-4 engine comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while both versions of the 2.7-liter Dual Volute Turbocharged I-4 have a 10-speed automatic transmission. If you opt for the CT4-V Blackwing with its 3.6-liter Twin-Turbocharged V6 engine, you will get to choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and an available 10-speed automatic transmission.
Each 2025 Cadillac CT4 comes with rear-wheel drive to improve acceleration and fuel economy. You can also opt for improved traction with all-wheel drive—an available trait on every 2025 CT4. Also, the CT4-V models have Brembo performance brakes for improved handling.

Depending on which engine and trim you choose, you are going to get solid fuel economy on your 2025 Cadillac CT4.
