The 2024 Cadillac XT6
The Cadillac XT6 first debuted for the 2020 model year. It’s a three-row SUV that’s built on a unibody platform, which delivers responsive handling and excellent maneuverability in tight spaces. Additionally, it has one of the largest third rows in its class, and it received the Top Safety Pick+ designation from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS). The newest version is available in three trim levels, each offering a swell selection of standard features that make any drive enjoyable. In addition to its large third row, you’ll enjoy up to 78.7 cu.ft. of cargo space when both the second and third rows are folded down.
The Luxury Trim
The entry-level Luxury trim has an MSRP of just over $50,000. It comes standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a 2.0L Turbo I-4 engine. On the inside, you’ll find a variety of standard features, including multiple USB ports, a Bose premium eight-speaker audio system, heated front seats, and the ability to preset two profiles for the power-adjustable driver’s seat. There are multiple safety features to increase confidence during the drive, including Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and an HD Rear Camera for greater insight while reversing.
Like the two trims above it, the base Luxury trim comes with room for seven occupants, and it provides 41.2 inches of legroom for the front row, 39.1 inches for the second, and 29.5 inches for the third, in addition to the cargo space mentioned above. Speaking of cargo, you’ll enjoy easy loading and unloading thanks to the standard power liftgate. Last but not least, you and your passengers can enjoy the natural light provided by the UltraView power sunroof, whose glass panels extend beyond the first row of seats.

The Premium Luxury Trim
The second-tier Premium Luxury trim offers drivers a bit more power than the base trim, thanks to its standard 3.6L V6 engine. On the inside, the XT6 Premium Luxury provides many of the same amenities as the Luxury trim, including remote start and rear climate control. However, desiring amenities that are not offered by the Luxury trim might be the tipping point.
For instance, the Premium Luxury trim allows you to opt for captain’s chairs in the second row; this decreases your potential occupancy to six but affords better access to the third row. You’ll also enjoy heated and ventilated front seats, while passengers in the rear will enjoy just the heating element. Another perk of this middle trim is the addition of a wireless charging pad, which streamlines the front console area by reducing cord clutter and making recharging your phone as simple as setting it down.
For improving your seating comfort and aesthetics, you can select the Platinum package, which includes semi-aniline leather upholstery with chevron-perforated inserts, French stitching on the leather-wrapped horn pad, a suede microfiber headliner, performance suspension, and the choice of two unique interior trim options, which are either Jet Black w/ Bronze Carbon Fiber Trim & Ombre Finish or Maple Sugar w/ Jet Black Accents & Fineline Calico Wood Trim.
This trim also allows you to get Super Cruise, which is a semi-autonomous hands-free driving system that can support you on hundreds of thousands of miles of highway across North America, allowing you to reach your destination refreshed and ready to go. In addition to Super Cruise, you’ll enjoy many of the same standard safety features of the base trim to ensure you get where you’re going safely.
The Premium Luxury trim also includes details like lighting accents that illuminate the front and rear doors to help passengers find things while traveling at night. There is also the available Night Vision, which allows you to see beyond your headlights by displaying a thermal image and alerting you to pedestrians or large animals in the roadway. While the Luxury trim has an MSRP of just over $50,000, the Premium Luxury trim comes in at around $58,000.
The Sport Trim
The top-tiered version of the XT6 is the Sport, with an MSRP of just under $62,000. It has the 3.6L V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission of the Premium Luxury trim, but all-wheel drive is standard. You’ll find many of the same comfort features, including ventilated and heated front seats and heated rear seats. The same Platinum package highlighted above is also available for the Sport trim, along with the choice to decrease seating capacity from seven to six by opting for second-row captain’s chairs.
The Sport trim also offers Super Cruise and additional driver assistance features, such as Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, available Rear Pedestrian Alert, and HD Surround Vision with an HD Rear Vision Camera. Each of the three trims is also capable of OnStar and Cadillac Connected Services, which means drivers can subscribe to services that can remotely connect to their XT6 and enable them to call for assistance when needed, such as after a collision.
Last but not least, both the Sport and Premium Luxury trim can be enhanced with the Technology package, which gives drivers an eight-inch color Driver Information Center display, a Surround Vision Recorder, Automatic Parking Assist with Braking, and a configurable color Head-Up Display.
